Diversity and Cultural Competency
Children’s Advocacy Centers of Nevada consider it a fundamental component of the centers’ philosophy to provide culturally competent services for all children and families who are in crisis. We work to demonstrate our ability to appreciate, understand, and provide comprehensive care to members of diverse populations and a variety of cultures, and create a developmentally and culturally appropriate, child friendly practice.
Our services are also available both in English and Spanish, and are sensitive toward managing the emotional impact of incidents of abuse and the trauma that can come from them afterward.
